The TIOMATIK Electric Replacement Heads are made from plant based plastics with sugar cane as its main component.  It has been designed to be used with the Braun and Oral B electric toothrushes. Except the Sonic toothrush. Therefore compatible with most brands of rotating electronic toothbrushes.

The rotary disc is made of cellulose mix while only the axle consists of a fossil based technical plastic. This is required due to the high mechanical stress on the head.

Tiomatik is produced in China, in the city of Shenzhen in the southern part of Guangdong province.

It is then is transported by train via the Silk Road from China to Germany. When it arrives, it is brought by truck to the warehouse. This is probably the most environmentally friendly way of transporting goods – long-distance transport.

The mounting adapter, the housing and the bristle plate can be recycled in the recycling bin, but this would require all parts to be carefully separated – which is difficult.
